Programs

The PDK Family of Associations offers programs and resources that engage stakeholders and practitioners in education from preservice teachers in Educators Rising, through the honor society of the university years with Pi Lambda Theta (PLT), and on through the current and emeritus education professionals with PDK International.

PDK International engages in work that supports teaching and learning by encouraging education professionals to network with each other and to use research-based practices in their work. Some programs and resources offered are discounted for members while others are offered as benefits of membership. PDK International supports a handful of programs to serve the public and aid the complex conversation that is public education today.

Programs and resources available to education professionals and the public:

PDK poll

Examines the public’s attitudes toward the public schools every year for nearly 50 years.

Conversations That Matter

Brings thought leaders into conversation with education professionals to share ideas about what works in schools today.

Kappan Common Core web site

Encourages practitioners to write about their work implementing the Common Core State Standards.

Programs and resources free to PDK members:

Kappan magazine

Serves as a knowledge broker, making discoveries from scholars and practitioners accessible for school and system leaders.

Programs and resources discounted for PDK members:

Scalable Systems Solutions (S3)

Access to insurance
